HAPPY READING!

With states all over India easing their restrictions and some even lifting the lockdown students are very much hopeful for their final semester or board exams to be a physical pen and paper exam. Although the decision of offline boards have been protested by many student unions and even students across India had tweeted and filed online petitions to cancel offline exams and conduct offline exams, we all know that doing this is not going to help us anyway because the students themselves are willing to attend outdoor parties and are going to crowded places but when it comes to reopening of schools and offline exams all of a sudden they are reminded about their 'health'. You know, it's quite funny to see what students across India are doing currently, instead of studying they are filing petitions! instead of doing physical and mental exercises and instead of keeping them calm and composed to focus on their studies they are out on the roads to protest for the exams to be online πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚and mind you that there is no social distancing followed in such protests.

Anyways I still am requesting all the students that doing all this is not going to help them as they also know that after their vaccinations are done which will be quite shortly they would have to sit for offline pen and paper exams. So here am I, sharing 4 tips with my dear student readers on how they can start preparing for their offline exams from now on.

  • FOCUS ON YOUR CORE SUBJECT(S):
For many of you who haven't even started preparing for your offline exams it is high time you start doing so and it is my advice that you start off from now itself. You can start by studying three subjects per day but do remember that the three subjects must include at least one or two of your core subjects because at the end of the day a good overall percentage and a brilliant score in your core subjects would open the gates for a bright future for you as you may receive direct call-ups from a prestigious college or may also get admitted to a good college without giving any donations or by going for an interview. All the above mentioned points are for my friends studying in classes 11&12. For my friends studying in class 10 it is important for them to decide on what stream are they going to choose for their higher education. And give more emphasis on those subjects which would help them get their desired stream without any hesitation. For example, If a student wants to pursue science in class 11&12 he/she must focus on all subjects equally in order to get a good aggregate but at the same time they must also focus on practising more of PCMB( Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology) and also should aim at getting good marks in these subjects if they are planning to pursue 'SCIENCE' in class 11&12. For students planning to pursue 'COMMERCE' must ensure to have a good score in mathematics and in English thus they should focus more on these subjects and if any of you plan to pursue 'HUMANITIES' in class 11&12 must ensure to have a good score in English and Social Studies. Thus, students must focus more on their core subjects to do well in their offline pen and paper exams.

FOCUSING MORE ON CORE SUBJECTS HELPS THE STUDENT TO SCORE WELL IN THEIR EXAMS AND ALSO HELPS THEM TO GIVE THEIR EXAMS WITH MORE FOCUS AND CONCENTRATION.

  • DON'T GET DISTRACTED AND START WORKING ON YOUR WEAKNESSES:

This point is so far the most important point among all the other three and if you follow this I guarantee you that there would be no one stopping you from getting a 90+ in your offline exams. It's the most humble request from my side for all my friends who will be appearing for their offline exams or offline pre-boards or boards to move away from social media and dedicate these 2-odd months only to your studies because these two months of preparation might become the difference between you scoring a 75 and the same you scoring a 90. Moving away from social media is quite tough and practically impossible for teens but if you delete all social media apps on your phones or activate focus mode on your mobile phones for more than 12 hours for one day you yourself will be motivated to not think about that for the next day or week.
It is also advisable from my side that you work on the areas in which you are weak and dedicate at least 1 hour everyday to study that particular subject or that topic in which you think that you are weak or you keep running away from. Because focusing and improving in a subject in which you are weak not only helps you overcome your fear from that subject but at the same time also uplifts your morale to do well in your exams.

NON-USAGE OF SOCIAL MEDIA DURING EXAM PERIODS HELPS STUDENTS TO ENHANCE THEIR SKILLS ON A PATICULAR SUBJECT AND AT THE SAME TIME HELPS THEM FOCUS MORE ON THEIR STUDIES AS A RESULT OF WHICH THEIR STUDY HOURS INCREASE.

  • FOCUS ON WRITING MORE:
With months of online study, many students have lost the habit of sitting for long hours to write long notes or long answer type questions. During online classes many students take down notes in the form of  points or small paragraphs. So what you all can do in order to get in the habit of writing more and sitting down for long hours is that every day from among the 3 subjects which you are studying choose one topic which has quite a considerable amount of page length then first read through the chapter and then set a time limit and take down all the notes from the chapter within the given time limit. You may not complete the writing the notes within the given time limit on the first day but if you start practicing over a few days you slowly will start complete writing the notes within the given time limit. But do remember to not take too much stress mentally while you sit for writing the notes if you feel that you can't take it any more then just go to your balcony or roof to take a good walk in the fresh air with your headphones on and when you feel like you are good to go then start from where you left off.

SITTING FOR LONG HOURS TO STUDY CAN HELP A STUDENT INCREASE THEIR CONCENTRATION AND HELPS THEM FOCUS MORE ON STUDIES.

  • START WAKING UP EARLY IN THE MORNING UNLIKE STUDYING LATE AT NIGHT:
Walking up early in the morning helps people feel energetic in doing all their activities. You as a student may also take this point into consideration because at the end of the day you'll  be sitting for an offline test in the morning and not at 2or 3 in the night. If you get up early in the morning say at around 6 or 7 it helps you feel energetic and at the same time gives you may be 2-3 extra hours of study. If you stay up till 2 or 3 at the night for studying there's no doubt that you are working hard but you have to realize that if this becomes a habit you'll find it very difficult to stay up during the day and will start feeling lethargic and lazy to study you may also develop insomnia after a period of time. Moreover you can practice some exercises in the open air to feel fresh and energized.

WAKING UP EARLY IN THE MORNING HELPS YOU REDUCE STRESS AND ASLO HELPS TO IMPROVE YOUR MOOD AND MENTAL HEALTH .

One message from my side to all my student readers is that there is still time for them to start studying and completing the syllabus within the due time. By following all the above mentioned points they can surely excel in their offline exams.
''THE WORD IMPOSSIBLE ITSELF SAYS THAT I'M POSSIBLE."
On that note I end today's blog. Hope you enjoyed reading it.

Just an important message from my side that I will be posting 3-4 blogs every week. Because I myself am a student and I cannot compromise on my studies. Hope you understand!

THANK YOU❤️❤️
